Her career began with 31 years at IBM, where she became a trusted advisor to Fortune 50 clients navigating complex enterprise transformations. Sharon didn’t just manage programs—she reimagined how global teams could work together. As Global Program Manager for the Americas, she took a successful North American client engagement model and scaled it into IBM’s worldwide benchmark for professional services delivery across contracts worth over $700M. Her innovative approach to agile coaching and product ownership generated $1.4M+ in cost savings while earning recognition as an IBM Agile Thought Leader and Enterprise Design Thinking – AI Teams Thought Leader.
At North Highland, Sharon continued this trajectory, leading enterprise-wide transformations that balanced strategic frameworks with the human side of change. Her strength lies in blending change management, design thinking, and agile practices in ways that stick—creating sustainable outcomes that teams actually embrace.
When Sharon joined Ember Group Consulting, she built the operational foundation from scratch. Every methodology, framework, and quality standard that defines how Ember serves clients bears her fingerprints. She launched the firm’s internship program, shaped its culture, and established the collaborative practices that make Ember distinctive. Today, she leads consultant teams across Digital Transformation, Change Management, Human Capital Innovation, and Adaptive Workforce Solutions, ensuring every engagement delivers people-centered results. Sharon sets firm-wide delivery standards, drives value realization for clients, and maintains accountability for consultant performance—balancing operational excellence with the people-first culture that defines Ember’s approach.
Sharon’s approach is grounded in deep expertise. She holds certifications as an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Shadow Work Coach, Shadow Work Types Practitioner, and Enneagram Practitioner. She serves on the ICF Charlotte Executive Board and is a member of the Society of Women Engineers, continuously advancing her field while mentoring the next generation of transformation leaders.
